Dr Robin Middleburgh

Robin trained at Durham and then Newcastle university. He initially training in Gateshead before doing an MSc in Sport Medicine, Exercise and Health at UCL and then stayed in South London to complete his GP training.

Robin has held several orthopaedic jobs which have given him a strong basis in joint injection and operating skills. Novel Ultrasound (UTC) based dissertation on tendininopathy led to his interest in sports medicine.

He now enjoys pitchside work and team and event medicine and has experience working with Brentford FC, Brighton and Hove Albion, Luton Town FC, Watford FC, Charlton Athletic and Crawley town, alongiside the London Marathon and other mass participation events.

Recently relocated to Worcestershire with his partner and two children, Robin enjoys travel and playing and watching sport all over the world. He enjoys playing football, tennis and cycling having also started playing golf this year to mixed results!
