David is GP with a special interest in Sports and Exercise Medicine.

He has been assistant club doctor and crowd doctor at Gillingham FC since 2019, and club doctor at Southend United FC since 2020. He has an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Bath, a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Care and a Diploma in Immediate Medical Care from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

As well as working for the NHS, he provides medical care in a secure environment and has an extended role in eating disorders.

David studied medicine at the University of Leicester.  Prior to studying medicine he was a paramedic for nine years
