Dr Chinyere Ezewuzie

Chinyere trained at UCL Medical School, where she did her BSc in Orthopaedic Science. She then completed foundation training in West London, followed by GP training in North East London. During her time as a junior doctor, she developed her interested in sports and musculoskeletal medicine and later returned to UCL to do her Masters in Sports Medicine, Exercise & Health.

She is currently a salaried GP in South East London and is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of her patients by encouraging physical activity and exercise. She has worked in sport doing various roles including pitch side work, mass participation events and as Covid Medical Officer. She was the team doctor for the under 19 England Women’s team at the Lacrosse World Cup and recently became the Women’s 1st team doctor at Charlton Athletic Football Club.

Chinyere is a keen sportswoman having played hockey and netball throughout university and later Club netball in the Regional and Premier Leagues. Although she has less time to play sport and train, she loves combining her passion for sport and exercise with her medical work.
