Role: CQC Compliance Officer

Salary: £14,000 – £18,000 dependent on experience

Location: SW London

Employment Type: Part-Time, 2 days per week.

Work Environment: Office setting with options for remote work.

 

What is the job?

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to act as the day-to-day lead for all matters related to the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This role is essential in ensuring that all our CQC-regulated services adhere to the necessary standards and regulations.

The CQC Compliance Officer will:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all standards set by the CQC.
  • Manage communications and reporting to the CQC as required.
  • Lead the preparation and management of CQC inspections.
  • Create, update, and maintain company policies and procedures in line with CQC requirements.
  • Work with service heads to review and improve service quality and clinical governance.

 

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have:

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a CQC compliance officer or equivalent role within healthcare.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • 3+ years in a CQC compliance officer or equivalent role within healthcare
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience undertaking audit/quality improvement projects independently.
